Yes, it’s Academy Award night! Meet our favorite nominee, Quvenzhané Wallis (9). Quvenzhané made Oscar history by being the all-time youngest nominee for Best Actress (Hushpuppy; Beasts of the Southern Wild) and third youngest in all categories. Qvenzhané was only 6 years old when filming for Beasts of the Southern Wild. Wether she takes home the Oscar® or not, Quvenzhané already has quite the interesting film projects lined up. She has been signed to star in Steve McQueen’s “12 Years a Slave” alongside Michael Fassbender, Benedict Cumberbatch and Brad Pitt. Quvenzhané has been cast as Annie, the much-anticipated new film adaptation of the musical classic "Annie", replacing Willow Smith who recently opted out of the project.
We are rooting for you Miss Quvenzhané Wallis!
